| As a registered counsellor : |
| Registration Criteria - |
Counselling practitioner with honors diploma or above (or overseas equivalent) in counselling or counselling related areas, such as psychology, human services, social work; AND have practised at least 250 hours of face to face counselling with supervision at the time of registration. |
| Renewal of Registration - |
At least 30 hours of training in counselling
or counselling related areas, e.g. workshops, seminars, conferences,
etc., at APCA recognized training institutes/centres within
the past year. |
| Initial Registration Fee - |
HK$800.-, including the annual membership
fee (membership year is from 1 January to 31 December) |
| Renewal Fee - |
For the current year :
HK$800 for renewal payment received at any date between 1 January and 31 December of the current year. |
| Renewal Fee with discount - |
For the year following the current year* :
HK$280.- for renewal payment received on or before 30 June of the current year.
HK$450.- for renewal payment received between 1 July and 30 September of the current year.
HK$600.- for renewal payment received between 1 October and 31 December of the current year.

| As a registered clinical supervisor :

| Registration Criteria - |
Postgraduate Certificate or above in
Counselling Supervision (or overseas equivalent), OR
at least seven years of practical experience in clinical
supervision ( All supervisors currently on The University
of New England's supervisors list would be eligible for registration
of Clinical Supervisor). All registered clinical supervisors
are automatically given the status of registered counsellors.

Renewable annually without further requirements.
